Mission Statement

"The mission of SAPCAR is to promote the sport of pine car racing while providing a family friendly environment that allows for good fellowship.  All profits of SAPCAR are used to fund the SCALES award, an award founded and presented by the Ridgeway Ruritan Club."

The SAPCAR Challenge Adult Leadership Educational Scholarship is an annual scholarship program awarded to an adult who works with the youth of our community.  The scholarship is used to help reduce the recipient's personal out of pocket expenses for training for which he/she is currently enrolled.  Our first two awards were given to local scout leaders to allow them to attend Woodbadge Training, the highest form of training available to volunteer scouters.
