DERBY DOC SPEED SHOP TO MAKE APPEARANCE IN 2008
A recent rumor has sped into SAPCAR's rumor lane. Rumor has it that Derby Doc from Derby Doc's Speed Shop may make a few appearances during 2008. SAPCAR drivers are excited for the opportunity to race the new comer if the rumor proves to be true!

WE Racing member to start up their own team?

RUMOR: I've heard rumors that Brent Whitlow plans on starting his own team. I hear he will still run under the WE Racing name but will own his own team. The name and class of the driver for the new team is unknown. If i were to guess he would take on ownership of an adult class team to compete with his dad and arch rival Donnie Davis.

Update: Brent has confirmed that this rumor is indeed false. The topic came up at the 2007 Season 4 SAPCAR awards and was this was just a rumor! Although talks may have been underway with Odie racing and/or Davis Racing, Brent will not start up an additional team. Brent did not deny allegations that WE Racing will enter a fourth class in Season Five. He had no comment on the topic.

RUMOR: I've heard rumors that SAPCAR will travel to a new location for one race during Season FIVE. IS THIS TRUE????? If so I would like DETAILS!

UPDATE: Yes SAPCAR Fans, in an attempt to stir up additional interest in the sport, SAPCAR will travel to Claudeville, Virginia to host the September SAPCAR event. More Details to come soon as they are only in the works.

Rumor: While looking through the old glass window of the SECRET WE Racing Garage, I captured this photo of a new hauler. Could WE Racing be preparing for the Big Rig Season Addition or are they just getting ready for the season five show? Don't Believe me??? See for yourself!!!

Yes, This is true! Apparently a photo of our hauler leaked out on the internet. WE racing was saving the surprise for the opening race of Season Five. Since you know its coming, we will let you wonder how our design team will paint and detail our big rig. WE Racing looks forward to competing in a "Big Rig" race ASAP. WE Racing also challenges all other SAPCAR teams to build one so that we can put David's add-on to use! LETS GO BIG RIG RACIN'!!!!!!!!!

HEY--"PROFESSIONAL" PINEWOOD DERBY RACERS-
There is the WIRL, PDDR and PWDRacing. All
of these use a single track type, race after race, so after you dial in
a set up, all you can do is tweak. Well all I can say is "You've tried
the rest, now try the best...SAPCAR, the only sanctioned pine car auto
racing group to switch tracks to keep the builders guessing."
SAPCAR teams traveled to a WIRL event,
supposedly the premier league and walked away with a 1st, 3rd and 5th as
well as a 2nd in show, losing out to a professional wood worker.
The real Professional Pinewood Derby racing kicks off season Five on Saturday, August 18, 2007. Come out and join the fun!
